Starting With WordPress
Initially the site was intended to be vehicle that would allow me to explore my thoughts and express them. I was the only user/target audience. I thought I would cover a few main topics. In my wisdom I thought I could easily create that using WordPress on my existing website account using blog categories for the topics: Parkinson’s, Smartphones, Online Learning, Long-term Care Home, Christianity and General.
Although it worked at the beginning, it was not a good choice. It soon became clear that the topics were bigger in scope and each deserved a website in its own right. And the elephant in the room, the Parkinson’s Video Society, was not even given a topic and tried to cover it somehow with the other topics.
